THE DETAILS MATTER

The design is ready. Now comes the part that makes it work.

A website can look finished and still need the right development work behind the scenes. That’s where I come in.

01 / RESPONSIVE

Looks right on desktop. What about everything else?

I check tablet and mobile breakpoints, spacing, typography, and the details that can slip through.

02 / TROUBLESHOOTING

Built, but something still feels off?

I investigate layout issues, forms, builder settings, CSS conflicts, and front-end problems.

03 / PERFORMANCE

The website feels heavier than it should.

I look at images, fonts, caching, scripts, stylesheets, and other factors affecting performance.

04 / MAINTENANCE

The site is live. Now it needs looking after.

Updates, technical fixes, content changes, and ongoing maintenance help keep things on track.

The goal is simple: make the website work as well as it looks, and make it easier for the next person to manage.

A selection of WordPress projects where I handled the implementation, responsive development, technical details, and delivery, with a focus on building websites that are not only accurate, but easier to manage after launch.

FIGMA → WORDPRESS

I inspect the approved design in Figma Dev Mode first, using the available measurements and component details to guide the WordPress build.

Once I understand the structure, I build the site systematically in Elementor Pro. Repeated sections and layouts are turned into reusable structures and templates where appropriate, rather than rebuilding the same design page by page.

I use consistent CSS classes and reusable styling patterns so the site remains easier to maintain. The goal is not just to make the page look correct today, but to create a system that can be extended without introducing unnecessary inconsistencies.

The implementation is refined across desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts so the design structure continues to work beyond the original desktop reference.

I build with the website owner in mind. When a shared piece of content needs to change, the goal is to avoid forcing the owner to edit the same content manually on every page. Reusable and dynamic structures can keep sitewide content consistent and easier to manage.

When additional functionality is required, I can add custom JavaScript or PHP and keep it separately managed through code snippets where appropriate. I also handle staging to production migration as part of the launch process.

A clean implementation designed to stay manageable.

A responsive WordPress build focused on translating the approved visual system into reusable Elementor sections instead of one-off page edits.

Figma Dev Mode provides the reference for dimensions, spacing, typography, and component behavior. I use those details as the starting point for the Elementor implementation.

After identifying the repeated patterns, I create reusable sections and templates so future pages can follow the same structure without rebuilding everything from scratch.

CSS classes and shared styling rules keep the design consistent and make later changes easier to apply across the site.

The desktop reference is adapted deliberately for tablet and mobile rather than simply shrinking the desktop layout.

Where content or layouts are shared, reusable and dynamic structures reduce repetitive editing and make the site easier for the owner to manage.

Additional JavaScript or PHP can be isolated through code snippets where appropriate, and the finished site can move from staging to production as part of the launch workflow.

I used Figma Dev Mode to inspect the approved design before building. I checked spacing, dimensions, typography, positioning, component sizes, and the specific values provided by the design. This gives me the information needed to reproduce the intended layout accurately instead of guessing measurements during development.

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

Development continues after launch when the site needs new sections, layout improvements, technical fixes, or additional functionality.

Changes are approached systematically so new work fits the existing structure instead of creating a collection of unrelated one-off fixes.

Desktop, tablet, and mobile behavior are checked when changes are introduced so improvements do not create new problems elsewhere.

Where appropriate, I review the implementation and remove unnecessary complexity, improve front-end behavior, and keep the site easier to work with.

Reusable styling, templates, and centralized structures help keep ongoing changes consistent and easier to manage.

Additional JavaScript or PHP can be isolated through code snippets where appropriate, giving the owner a clear way to enable or disable custom functionality without interfering with the rest of the site.
